Doing a review of Google and the forum here turned up no concrete results, so I figured I'd post about it to get the info up here for future people not smart enough to mark the hoses. I unhooked it to make room for spark plugs and valve cover gaskets, trying to get it back together now.

On the heater control valve, two hoses go to the motor and 2 go to the firewall.

On the motor side, one goes to the intake manifold, the other goes to the water pump.

Which hose goes on the upper fitting of the control valve, and which hose goes on the lower?

More info?

Could you add a picture? It'd help.

OK so after doing a little research, I'm not too sure if it matters which line goes to which port. That being said, the diagrams I've looked at show the lower hose on the water pump/motor side going to the lower port on the control valve.
