quick question

Its retarded but im putting in a switch for a light and i need to extend one of the wires from the switch to the 12v, what kind of wire do i need to use to extend it.

what are you going to power? on a general note 22-18 guage is probably more than enough

i think that would be too much, but im not really sure, all i am going to power is a simple neon tube, but the only thing i need to extend is that wire from the switch to the 12v.

22 or 24 guage is probably fine
