Hey guys,
I just replaced the exhaust manifolds on my 98 mountaineer 5.0. I got rid of the tubular style ones which were both cracked, and went to the cast style. I have read that when you go with the cast style, that you need the newer style plug wires with the heat shields on the wires. My question is, what is the correct position of the wires that have the heat shields? what cylinders get them, and which ones don't. If someone with a 99 or newer v8 mountaineer or explorer has a pic of their plug wires that would help a ton. Thanks guys
Andy
