Hey guys I have a 5r55e and took all solenoids out to test and inspect. I aslo took down the low/reserve servo. Now, I found this little piece of perfectly round metal on the floor of ehich I had layed down some white oil mats. Can anyone tell me if this might have come out of one of the solenoid ports when I pulled them out, or out of the servo. I doubt it, but need to check before I reinstall everything A picture is attached. Also it does not look like it broke off anythingall sides are nice and smooth.

I also too down the valve body after, and found the gasket blown out next to the epc soleniod, I think this is my 2-3 flare, anyone else have any thoughts????

That is a spacer from the pan gasket. There is a sticky thread on the top of the transmission section with this part. The VB gaskets always blow out near the EPC. The EPC resonates at a low frequency (under 300 HZ), so it causes the gasket to blow out. I'm sure that the VB bolts are loose in that area too.
