I didn't have the transmission vertical that when I took off the bell housing and the pump. Does this mean that all of the rings/discs/clutches or whatever they are would have fallen down to the valve body? A transmission shop told me that. If so would I have to pull the pan and valve body out and then put them back in place?
This is my first attempt at a transmission rebuild and any help would be appreciated.
