So if you leave the rear defrost on it will shut off within say 15 minutes. It’s always been the case with Ford as it never stays on for an indefinite amount of time. I am asking about how after remote starting and turning on the ignition that the rear defrost stays on requiring you to leave it on or manually turning it off. I don’t remember having to do this on my Fusion or SHO.Here is what the Manual says for the heated rear window. I believe that also applies to the remote start.
