Racheting Hub

My left front hub makes a really annoying racheting sound when the 4x4 is engaged. The right side does not do it. I pulled the wheel off yesterday to check my brake pads, and put some fresh grease onto the hub while I was at it. Still makes it.

Anyone know what is wrong and how to fix it?

sounds like it is time to replace it... time to upgrade from the autohubs to manuals

I had a feeling that was coming. The autos never worked that great anyhow. Good thing summer is coming up and I can start making some $$$ again.
