Rack and Pinion With Solid Axle?

I have a dilemma. Today I came home to see the Explorer and I completely forgot about it being R & P. How does one go about putting a steering system with balls in there that still drives OK. Is there any specific steering Box that I could use or should I just start looking for a box that fits? I just hate the fact that I have to change so much stuff on this thing just to make it sick. Oh well I'll get by. I know this has been done before so any input would be greatly appreciated.

Take a look at your bronco, that's exactly what you need to run for an axle swap. Well the parts are little different.

Do a search under the Explorer Projects forum and you'll find some good info!
