This is for anyone even thinkin about the radial claws.
If you want a tire that will kick the crap out of anything you put in front of it......the mickeys will do it! Mine are about 2 months old now and I've yet to get a rock rash on the sidewalls. And surprisingly they are very quite on the streets. Most people think they would hum like a mother****** but they don't. I have found though with the sidewalls being so damn tough I am running 16 pounds of air on the streets. Pictures coming very soon.........

Cool, I really wasn't a fan of those things before. BTW check out this month's issue of 4wheel drive & sport utility. There is a badass article about wheelers in Idaho and I think I remember you saying you were looking for more people there to wheel with.

Hey thanks Danny!! Is what I siad was I wanted to see more explorers on the trails here. We've got tons of 4x4 clubs but there all jeeps or toys. No suvs. I'm actually a half member of the Idaho Off Road Association. I can't be a member cause of my job but I go on all the runs with them.

Here's a photo of my Bias Ply Baja Claws at 5PSI.

Nice pic Rick!! Hey rick I know this is going to sound a little stupid but I want to know. Did you ever try mounting them backwards? I tried it and it actually worked out pretty good. I personally think my radials dug in the hard dirt better with the rotation mounted backwards.

No, I haven't tried it. But hey anythings possible :D

I have a set of 33" Mickey Radials on my truck and matter of fact, just got back from Attica and after just one run over a double rocke ledge, I shot my front driveshaft. After that, I just hit the hills and the trail going down to the creek bed and through the tunnel. And I did it all with a two wheel drive!!! My budies where surprised as hell to see it, especially when I went through a water and mud pit from hell. And they sling fist sized mud balls all over the place!!! Love these tires.

Well since southern Idaho finally got its first snow friday I have been non-stop snow wheelin. I was really excited about seein what the claws could do in the snow. I've got one word for you "AWESOME!!" They keep themselves cleaned out and I was doin stuff in 2wd that most people were doin in 4wd. All the snow finally drifted yesterday so we went out bustin drifts on the desert trails and man oh man 2 feet of snow all the time with almost 3 foot drifts in 2wd. God it felt good! The only time I had to use 4-low was when I stopped in the middle of a drift for pictures. The snow was about even with my the top of my 35s.

But here is a down fall to the mickeys. No traction at all on slick pavement. I'm tryin to figure out a way to sipe these damn things without ruining the tire.

Id like to see that pic. Im originally from WI. So i know what snow drifts can do to cars or trucks.

I'll be posting all the pics of everything I've done with the claws very soon. I need to finish off the roll of film first.

Some guys at work have them on their Z71's and they swear that they are the best mud tires next to the Super Swamper Boggers.
