radio nightmare

i recently swapped my radio for cd combined radio when i put it in it would not work so put the old one back in entered code wiyh 12345 keys then number 30 came up then 29 all the way down to 1 then started flashing code again the code is what was printed in the radio manual would appreciate any posative feedback

sorted my radio i decided to check the radio code.found ford site which would give radio codes all you have to do is remove radio and give serial number which is on the side then pay £4.50 and you will recieve the code.i noticed on top of the radio the installers name and the code so i put the the radio back in place and entered code the radio now works so the code in the hand book can only be the wrong code

usually it would be written down or on a card, not just written in the manual. So if it was in the manual, it wasn't the code.

thanks for reply but the wrong code was put in a four digit code box at the bottom of the page were it says radio code so that you would not forget
