Radio Removal

I bought a 2010 Explorer ST XLT. I did not buy the "Extended Warranty" for $1600. Today I decided to activate the Sirius Radio. I called Sirius and after many steps I was told that I would have to take it to the dealer to have the radio serviced. "SAT Fault" was the message displayed. I would like to remove it from the dash for a visual inspection and maybe replace with one from the wrecking yard. Any suggestions, thoughts appreciated.
Note: The radio is Ford Factory, Double Din, AM/FM Single CD/MP3 Satellite (Sirius Available), Voice Activated SYNC,

It's for a 2007 ST, but the procedure is exactly the same for a 2010 (I removed the radio from my '10 recently to upgrade to nav).
