Help! I have heavy static on the Ford base radio in my '96 Explorer. In AM band, static is heavy on roads with overhead power lines. This was not present before.
I changed the sparkplug wires and plugs and problem still persists. This does not happen in my other car on the same roads.
Any idea how I can correct this?
