I just bought a used 95 explorer XLT. It has the standard radio/tapedeck and speakers. The radio has great FM sound, but AM stations have constant static.(Not terrible but very noticible) Every few minutes it has a burst of static that last about 1.5 seconds. Occurs near big buildings or when I go under electrical wires. On expressways it doesn't ussually have the burst. Is it possible to know what it causing it just from this or do I need to go to a shop?
