2002 exploder 4.6liter. Been electrical problem for me. Passive alarm goes off for something to do and horn wont shut off unless fuse is pulled. Sometimes when driving the lights flash like alarm is going off. wire harness near oil filter splash shield rubbed raw. repaired and re routed wires. Alternator died so replaced that. Door ajar is on and radio stays on when you shut off and key is out. Thought it should be drivers door switch not signalling a open door? Unpluged all switches in drivers door and door ajar light and radio stays on removed all door panels and liftgate and disconnected door switches one by one and then all of them to no avail. unplug PATS( i believe) module under RR cargo area panel and issues are resolved but no power locks or radio? is the adjusting screw on the side of PATS for range or for sensitivity? any way to test the module or bypass door switches? If a open in wire signals a closed door Would Applying a scotch lock to door switch wires complete circuit to show door is open?
