Finaly tracked my clunk/squeek down, I had the floor jack under the front diff and i was resting my butt on the front bumper and i heard a squeek so i got a helper to rock the truck a bit and noticed the whole radius arm bracket was moveing:eek: , Now i just have to figure out how to torque them bolts down really tight. Why the heck dident ford put a bolt in the bottom of the bracket cause then this would never have made a sound?

Cus then what would you do on your weekends? Ford specifically makes these design flaws so that males can have something to occupy thier time on the weekends and keep them away from being strangled by thier significant others or dragged off to a shopping mall, thus insuring the survival of the male species. :D

I go t that same issue on my RA's except mine dont squeek, they rattle. As long as my windows are up and music's loud I dont hear much of anything...

I would just crank the tunes but the bracket is moveing about 1/8th and i can just imagine if the bolts broke. Wanna learn how to do ball joints in july? gonna have a BBQ and some suds maybe do some wheeling the weekend after that too.

Ya i'm up for that. We can use your truck as a test vehicle and break stuff on it so that when its time to do them on my truck we'll have it solved! BTW just doing that intake gasket has increased the mileage on the truck 2MPG. City is now up to about 16MPG from 10/11MPG when I first bought it.:D
