TJXtreme, (assuming you have a '91-'94)
If you do a search on RA or Radius Arms you'll find many, many posts about replacing them here on this web site.
In a nutshell you can replace them one of two ways that I'm aware of;
1. Hard way! Remove the front spring, shock (lower bolt), brake caliper (hang it from a wire so it doesn't hang from the hose), disconnect the tie rod, stabilizer link, remove the bolt from the rear radius arm bracket and force the axle forward until you can remove and replace the bushings.
2. Easier way! Specially if you decide to install a lift kit in the future.
Use a grinder or cut-off tool and remove the two rivets from each rear radius arm brackets (have four 7/16"X1 1/2" grade 5 or better hardware to take the place of the rivets you just removed). Remove the four nuts and bolts holding the two rear brackets togethere in the center and remove the radius arm bracket and replace the bushings.
I'm certain that you'll get many other comments on this subject. In the future you might want to add the year and model of your truck which makes it much easier to diagnos the problem and we won't waste your time.
Hope this helps,
