I am a technician at a ford dealership in town and the easiest way I was taught to do it is to take off the large nut at the end of the arm and attach a comealong from the radius arm to the frame rail towards the front bumper and basically winch the radius arm toward the front of the vehicle. Then simply slide out the old bushing and insert the new one. Then release the radius arm back, you may need a B.F.H to manuvere the arm back to the hole then just reinstall the nut and your done. I have replaced the bushings this way many times and have never had a problem.
