Hey guys did a bit of searching and didnt find any relevant results...

on my 93 for the past few years the brake lights have been flicking in and out, I had a friend follow me for a road trip and he said that it was pretty random sometimes one would come on then the other, then both, and neither...

then just last night it was raining pretty good and the chime that goes off when you have the headlights on and the door open or whatever kept going off all the time when the headlights were on.

I haven't noticed water getting into the cabin anywhere, so if it is its in really small amounts.

anybody have any ideas on places that could be getting wet to cause these things?

its not water neccesaraly(spellin?) but the moisture..but i dont know where to look.

Try checking your bulb sockets for corrosion. Mine started burning out bulbs and stuff off and on. Then I checked out the sockets and saw that a lot of them, all around the vehicle, were corroded and breaking apart. Changed them and fixed my problems. Maybe your wires are corroded as well.

I'll check the sockets when its light, and not raining.

Also check your grounds. A lot of intermittent electrical problems can be traced to the grounds.
