Ok, here are the video clips. I reccomend viewing them at 200% size.

You can't see the deep hole to the right of my truck. That's why the guy hopped on the side to keep us from sliding in. If you were to slide in you would be on your side up against the wall with no easy method of extraction.

This was a good test of the rock sliders :D You can see the truck pivoting around the boulder on the slider.

These two photos are the Jeeps that ran Terminator with us today. The yellow one is on 38's and has a 5.0L Ford, Ford tranny and transfer case, Ford 9" axles... is it a Jeep or Ford :D

And the carnage from the run:

The trail is 30 miles North of PHX. We ran Raw Deal today. Both upper and lower. I had never ran upper before. Ripped my fender flare clean off and broke the other PIAA

More video and photos will be posted tonight. Even more hardcore :D

damn rick thats some great footage and some amazing trails, you are just totally nuckin futs! By the way I thought Mattadams X was the loudest squeaker on the board but sounds like you might give him some competition, lol j/k great videos!
oh yeah and you call those trails????????????????

Yea, them be trails.

I walked up anaconda - all the way - it makes terminator and raw deal look like cake walks.

I didn't feel so bad about the squeaking since the TJ that was with us was making as much noise as mine :D The trails (this one and Raw Deal) were both a blast. I had a great time out there.

I'm glad Tom walked the whole length of Anaconda, cuz I only went up to the second waterfall and to that point and just beyond looked passable for the Explorer. The third waterfall was the killer I guess.

Rick, I finally saw the video today. I just got DSL and boy what a difference in speed.

Great footage and awesome trails. In the last video who was the heavy breather that said it's the J hook that broke don't worry. Everytime someone said that to me on the trail, don't worry that's when I worry.

Welcome to the world of high speed Internet :D

That was Tom Davis doing the video. He came down to Phoenix for the weekend.

I installed the J-hook for the first time before that run. I wanted to see how much it would limit my travel. Well... it did limit my travel and as a consequence the hook went from a J hook to an | hook. So there really was no problem in fact it wheeled better once the dang hook was gone. I removed the other one right after that.

Those trails really favor the shorter wheelbases.

How come you were trying to limit droop. Were your shocks or brake lines maxed out?

Can't wait for March to try out me short wheelbase.

I wanted to see how far the springs would stretch. I was interested in seeing if the spring would open up as much as the amount it can drop free without the J-clip.

The problem with the spring dropping free is the noise it makes when it pops back in. It will be addressed one of these days. It works fine as is, I was just experimenting

Ok, Rick made a small.. er, LARGE movie from the video I took.

It was about 650mb in size. (mpeg1 video, mp3 audio)

I've taken that, and reduced it to 86 mb in size.

This is a *LARGE* file folks. If you don't have DSL/CABLE or high speed internet access, don't even THINK about downloading it.

Also, you must have the DiVX :-; codecs to play it.
