Power door locks work intermittently. I replaced batteries in remotes with no luck. I replaced the driver's side actuator and it worked a few times, then stopped working. You can see the locks trying to move (and the actuators on both sides make noise). The door switch doesn't unlock (or lock) the door either.

Any ideas?:rangerred:

You might have a intermittent connection where the wires pass from the cab to the driver's door. I think this is the problem with my Explorer, but I haven't made the time to troubleshoot yet. I have the following symptoms:

Drivers side door lock does not open with key, but it is intermittent; sometimes works just fine, other times acts as if the actuator is holding the lock button down.

Speaker in drivers door is intermittent, mostly off but sometimes works.

Passenger side window did not work once with master switch on driver door, but started working again and hasn't repeated.

I have replaced the door lock solenoids on both the passenger side and hatch previously, but the symptoms are different this time so I suspect a wiring problem.
