Hello all I'm new here and just looking to purchase 08 Ranger to replace 92Mazdza B2200. Looking for feedback from those in the know 3.0 versus 4.0, best gears 3.73versus 4.10, etc. Any help surely appreciated

The 4.0 has more power(duh) and you'd most likely want to go with more. If you don't, you'll regret it. It all depends on what your gonna use it for.
If you plan to do any lifting/bigger tires to it, go with the 4.10's. Even if you upgrade later, you will be able to get more $$$ if you decide to sell the 4.10's.
For instance, I wouldn't mind having 4.10s in my ex right now.
