Rattle when under power

I have a 94 XLT and I sometimes get a rattle when accelerating. Normally when I'm climbing a hill on the highway. Not sure what it is, dosnt seem to be getting any worse and its been there for a while now (like over a year). I think it might just be something metal rattling when the vibrations are right, but thought id ask in case someone knows othewise.

Sounds like engine ping, which is real common on the Gen 1's. Causes range from carbon buildup in combustion chamber, vacuum leaks, lower intake manifold leak, bad MAF sensor, etc. If you do a search you'll find lots of threads.

cat or muffler heat shield is a good low-impact guess..
