So not all the time..but once every couple of days I will get this rattle..like something is loose in the front end on the right side when going over bumps. Sounds like someone suspension related. But since it doesn't happen all the time...dealer can never find it.

I also still have my whining/oscillation noise at 40 MPH...more at 80+ MPH and really from acceleration.

Calling tomorrow to have it looked at again as last time they put it on the lift and listened for anything and didn't hear a thing

Your second issue sounds wind related. Possibly the cowl, less likely the 'A' pillar. Many posts on the cowl issue.

See that's what i though...but right off the go it just sounds engine/trans related...you can also what i think is a similar noise..hear it when it's warmed up and even idling.

You hear it more when the vehicle is warmer

Sorry this is probably stupid...which part is the cowl?

Not stupid at all. The cowl is that plastic piece that runs along the bottom of the windshield. Many members have had it produce howling type noises that seem to fluctuate with speed or head winds.

Thanks. The only reason I don't THINK it's that is due to the noise at idle and it getting worse...It's weird. But i could be wrong. We will see when i bring it in.

Now the rattling over bumps right side has to be suspension..just not sure what. I took a video of it and you can hear it so hopefully that helps them

If that noise is there at idle then you're right, it's not the cowl. Serpentine belt maybe?

They thought it was that and replaced it ( it needed to be replaced anyways because it was slipping BAD in the rain. So that's new and the noise is still there

You're not making this easy.;) I would think that it has to be a part that is moving when the engine is running and the vehicle is parked. If we eliminate the engine itself I think we are left with the cooling fans, pulleys and alternator....I think. Not sure if the fans run at initial cold startup or not. If the noise is there when the fans are not running then they can be eliminated.

It's hard i know!

When the car is cold..the noise takes a while to creep up. It's still there...but 15 min on the highway and it's at its loudest. So as something heats up..it gets worse.

When it's cold i get a little whine from trans..but that has really always been there. So frustrating! Plus my Powertrain is up in 4.5K..so need to find this ASAP
