Re-gearing, where to purchase

I was just at completeoffroad.com, and their kits for the D35/M35 IFS say "Reverse Ring & Pinion Gears" I thought that the IFS gears were not, but the TTB gears were. What's the deal?

Just sent email inquiries to accuauto, complete offroad, 4wheelersupply, and Randy's. We'll see who gets me the best deal!

i'm in the process of trying to get my truck regeared and i've been calling around. for just labor (no parts) i have got quotes from $325 per axle($650 total) to 750. and i just spent $560sumthin on new gears from Randy's. so i'm wondering if these quotes sound right or if i should keep shopping. i think the place that quoted me at 325 didnt realize how much more work the front dif is. and i really dont want to get screwed. anything i should be asking about when i call these places other than "how much"?

or how difficult would it be for me to do it myself? if i took my time and followed the instructions from randy's r&r? i need to put my locker in too, and the service shops that i've been calling sound like they know as much as i do about regearing. like aamco "i dont know what i'm getting into, so i'm going to have to go off the computer for this one." and alot of places give me this response "i'm sorry, tell me again what you want to do?"

thank you very very much. i have been searching for a writeup. i appreciate this greatly.

installing new gears isn't too bad, its a bit time consuming the first 1 or 2. people saying 175 for labor, man thats cheap I think we usually charge like 5-6 hours (80 bux an hour) for a dana or a corporate heep axle

Mine was only $163 for labor. I didn't think it was bad at all.
