I did a real quick search for the type of transmission fluid to use, and I could not find any results. Type F or Dexron 3 mercon? which one?

Dexron. I also us Motocraft. (since its a ford)

Mercon or Mercon 3. If it has any upgraded parts and/or updates use Mercon V.
