Rear A/C diag. & repair

Hey guys, im new to this site and i need some help. I have a 2002 explorer and the rear A/C starts clicking everytime i turn it on. I have heard something about it being the Blend Door Motor, but other than that i have no idea where to begin. Can anyone help me out?

How's it going, the first thing you want to do is verify it is a blend door motor. Start by adjusting the temp control knob to the rear unit while it's clicking, if the clicking stops while adjusting temp to the rear, but clicks at full heat or cool, than go buy an Auxilary Temp. Blend Door Actuator at your local FORD Dealer. To install you will need to access the left quarter trim panel, the blend motor is on the back side of the case. You DO NOT need to diconnect the A/C OR HEATER hoses to access the blend door motor. Simply disconect the wire loom on top of the aux A/C case (aux plenum chamber) & remove the 3 nuts/bolts 10mm & 11mm holding the case. Pull the case away from the quarter panel and there will be enough room to replace the motor.
Hope this helps.
