Well, I finally took the ST in for service. I had built up a list over the 6 months of ownership to try out that darn premium super duper Ford warranty.

Mentioned:

Right rear rotor smokes and rotor blues (very intermittent)
Brakes in general feel like complete crap
Passenger Lumbar Broken
Transmission 2nd to 1st shift issues (really nothing to whine about...almost completely self-corrected after I put fluid in the thing)
Front windows rattle
Some power steering vibration
Exhaust ticks when at cold startup (figured it to be manifolds)

Result so far:

They want to charge me to lube the brakes. I did this the first time it acted up as the lube seemed non existent on the SS guides on the bracket. I assume the lube I added after thoroughly cleaning the SS guides to a nice shine, dried up from the EXTREME heat from the caliper locking up. I mean...you will get a blister touching the wheel when this happens! I have proof.

The lumbar is covered.

The window rattle is normal (wtf)

Exhaust noise normal (need to cold start it!!)

Power steering fluid flush needed (uhhhggg....of course it does...the only fluid I didn't completed change out)

Transmission not acting up. (I said it was intermittent)

I mentioned TSBs on the brake pedal feel and transmission. They are oblivious to such things.

I did get a rental. Expedition with ecoboost. Handles like a boat, but man does that engine have some torque!

If I can get the brakes to work like every other vehicle I have ever owned, I really have no other complaints. The brake pedal feel is terrible!

I figured I should share what happens for those of you looking to do the warranty.

Update: Only thing covered under warranty was lumbar. I'm out about $400. Brakes feel a little better, but not good. Still haven't taken it on a long trip to see if the brakes will self-destruct.

Now the A/C goes hot on the right side. Waited until it went back to cold and disconnected the electrical connector for the blend actuator. Hopefully the door will stay put for some months.

Warranty not paying for itself yet, obviously.
