Went to flush brake fluid today to put in new stuff and ended up rounding off the drivers side rear bleeder then the two caliper mounting bolts! The damn rust and corrosion on this vehicle is just incredible!

I gave up for today and am planning to try to use the damaged bolt extractors to get these bolts and bleeder off next weekend. I'm hoping they work but if not, any suggestions on how to at least get the caliper bolts off so I can change out the rear calipers? If I were to sawzall the bolt heads off, can I punch the bolt out enough to remove the caliper?

Also, anyone know the size for the rear banjo bolts? The way things are corroded, I'd like to have some extras on hand for when I change out the calipers. RA has some 3/8"x24 but it states "front". I've been unable to find specific info for the rears, though.

sws, these are listed as "fronts" on RA as well as other sites I've checked out. I'm hoping they are also compatible with the rears! I ordered four of them so fingers are crossed.

thanks, brother!

FYI in case anyone might be interested. The rear Banjo Bolts are the exact same size as the fronts - 3/8-24.

Also, those rounded off caliper bolts weren't any match for the Craftsman Damaged Bolt Remover socket! Those things are just awesome! Gripped right on to the stripped bolt and enabled me to turn them right on out! Anyone who doesn't have a set of these needs to go out right now and add one to your tool set!
