Hi all
Has anyone managed to remove the long, plastic, rear bumper step cover without dropping the whole bumper first?
I has seen a thread which says drop the bumper and then remove the step by pinching the fastenings with pliers and then levering off the step. The alternative is to simply yank it off and risk damaging the fastenings.
Any thoughts?
I want to have a look inside and see how bad the rust is and whether I can cheer it up a little whilst I am looking for a rust free replacement for a 1998 series 2.
Cheers
Neil
