Rear compartment door comes open

I have a 2000 Limited. The driver's side rear compartment door latches keep opening up. The compartment door looks to be in perfect condition, as does the rest of the truck, but if I close the latch, it will come open in a few minutes.

Is there any way to adjust it or keep the latch closed? It rattles when the latch is open.

found this old post searching for other stuff,,, i had the same problem, and i jus added a set of silicone dots around the edge of the door (on the inside, where it should rest against the panel) let it dry, and it will be enough to avoid the vibration that opens the latches, and to give it a little more pressure against the panel, so that the latches rest agains the panel a little tighter... never had it opening by itself since.
