Push memory buttons 3 and 5 simultaneously. You should see the little headphone icon in the radio display toggle on and off as you activate/deactivate Rear Seat Audio Controls.

On trips when we have 4 people in the explorer it allows the front 2 people to listen to something and the rear 2 people to listen to something different.
