One of my wires that attach to the rear defroster on my 99 Exp XLT. It looks as if the metal at the end of the wire was broken off the strip on the window. How would I go about fixing this? thanks in advance

there are kits that you can buy that you can repair them very easily.i have done this before.

yeah i figured the new window was the easiest bet to do it right

I know guys that have gone as far as soldering them, but again, it's difficult at best. Just depends on how much material is left behind. The best repair is to replace the window, but a repair can't make it any worse (unless you heat the glass up so much that it shatters.... very easy to do!!).

They do sell kits that sometimes help, although I haven't seen them around in a while.
