Rear Diff Fluid

I want to change my front and rear diff fluids and have been searching the boards for info etc. Does anyone have any fluid suggestions outide of what the manual states such as brand and weights for the front and rear diffs? This is just a daily driver with snow being the only 'off road' expirience I ever have.

In my old Sport Trac I used Mobil 1 75w-90 in the front and 75w-140 in the rear since it was limited-slip.

Amsoil gear fluid. The synthetics are great for the gears. Besides Mobil 1, Valvoline makes a good Synthetic as well.

Stick with what the owner's manual recommends in terms of the viscosity and synthetic/dino oil, and you can't go wrong. There will be many opinions on which brand is the *best* but so long as it meets or exceeds the standards recommended by the manufacturer, it'll be just fine.
