I have a 94 xlt with a LSD rearend... it's got 180 000 km on it and the clutch plates on the diff have never been changed, so I'm assuming I don't have LSD anymore...

my question is that when I got the garage to change the diff fluid I'm not sure if I remembered to get them to put the friction modifier in...

is this gonna cause a problem?

I'm lanning on getting a set of Air Lockers in the future... will I need this additive then?

If your diff already has 180k km on it, it might be a moot point about the lack of friction modifier has. You could always just go to a auto parts shop and buy a bottle and pour it in. No big deal.

As for the air lockers, no, you won't need it, as the locker is never going to "slip" like a LS diff does.

Thanks, just wanted to make sure that there wasn't anything special about the diff other than the LS
