Rear Door Help.

I'm sure there's a thread on here somewhere addressing these problems but I can't find then. If you can you are more than welcome to share.

1. My rear door will not open from the inside. Childlocks are off, but they act like they are on.

2. There is a short in a wire in my steering column that causes my left turn signal no to work useless my steering wheel is up. I like to drive with it down but cannot because of this. The ford dealership told me once that it was a wire that was pulling and fixed it once. Then my wife move my steering wheel and messed it up Again. Which wire needs fixed? I can't seem to find it.

1. The plastic door handles are crap! Removwe the door panel and you'll see the rod hole broken.

Are there any solutions to the crappy plastic door handles?

Just buy new ones. They're available aftermarket too. The back seat passengers yank on them before the doors are unlocked and FUBAR them in no time! I've replace two already.
