Hey guys
Ive looked around for some information on this but simply cannot find any.

Now the rear doors on my 02' trac have always been a little tough to open, but recently the rear driverside inside handle stopped working all together. I have always kept the mechanism well greased, and i have check to make sure the child lock wasnt on, however im wondering if there is some sort of issue with it sticking on? anyways along with the driverside rear the passenger rear went as well, mostly at the same time, which makes me wonder what the hell is going on haha. The worst part was one of my buddys went to open the passenger rear and i told him to pull hard and part of the handle broke off!
Anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated as this issue is ridiculous and very annoying especially since i carpool daily.

Thanks for any help in advance,
roughrider

Most likely your buddy did you a favor. The plastic handles are a POS, replace them both. The hole where the rod goes splits and then spreads every time you pull on the handle. IIRC they're the same ad the fronts and as a Ranger so it must be the position on the door that tends to make rear passengers pull too hard on the handle. They won't take much yanking! (yanking, Southern for pulling hard not Yanking as in Yankee. Not to say it couldn't be Yankee yanking..haha!)
