Does anyone have any info on removing the rear door panel; I have a malfunctioning lock. Every time I go to remove a door panel I always end up breaking something. Thanks!

welcome to the site... just remove the screws arond the door handle area, and pry out the clips, then by pulling upwards, it will all come off

Remember there is a little plastic trim piece around the door handle that needs to be removed as well. This was not mentioned by Jim. :p

This is what it looks like inside the hatch. I don't know if this helps you or not though.

I should have clarified that I'm really talking about the rear hatch. I hate just prying until the fasteners give way. Makes me real un-easy!!! My lock still works, but the electric actuator is slow and will need to be replaced. Can't see a thing through the little access hole.

Well I did it. Actuator is replaced so I just need to put everything back together. It was more difficult then i had thought. I'll need to adjust the window latch, had to run an errand and i have little rattle there. I'm going to make a detailed list of what I had to do after I get it all buttoned up today.

There is no substitute for the right tools.
Get your hands on a nice panel popper.
Makes A WORLD of differance !!!!
