'97 xlt 4x4
I just replaced the rear pads and rotors today and gave the rear hub a spin on each side. The first thing I felt was clunk clunk clunk.

With both rotors off each side, spinning the hub by hand, I can hear and feel a clunk probably 8-10 times per revolution, and it sounds like its coming from the diff. Is this a common problem? I can take a video with the sound if anybody can help. Thank you, Justin.

Do the shafts move in & out a lot? (like 1/8" or more)?

Maybe there's too much clearance in the spider/side gear teeth because your limited slip clutches are worn down?
