Give us more info.

Has the rear end been making any noise in the past? These are infamous for howling, some of which grenade eventually (mine has howled since new, now at 104K miles, no better, no worse over time).

How many miles? Towing service? Any recent changes (new huge tires, etc.)? Any other indications or changes? How long have you had it?

Have you checked the fluid in the differential yet? Any signs of leakage? Has the rear axle been submerged?

How sure are you that it is the differential? Could it be the rear wheel bearings?

Check the half axle boots for tears. I had one with a cut boot and the grease dried out. That gave a similar issue. Bought a replacement universal boot and that gave out in 6 months. Amazing thing is that these can fill with dirt and wear quite a bit,but if you clean them and repack with high moly grease they continue to work.

Rear end noise

Have clicking every rotation in rear recent noise and both axles are brand new some I'm assuming i broke something in the gears. I wanna make stronger if I replace does anyone know if 410 gears are 2 much ? The truck will have some power soon. 02 ford explorer independent rear.
