I was driving and I felt a vibration-roughness. It seems to be coming from the rear of my vehicle. I called the dealership and they told me that those vehicles have known problems with the rearend and they usually have to replace the whole rearend. I am looking at around $2000. The transmission seems to shift okay. but it does it when I am going over 45. The rear almost has a jerk to it.just trying to get ideas or a little advice, if any one has had this problem maybe they can tell me what they had to do. I don't want to take it some wheres and get taken advantage of.

Welcome to this forum! I've renamed your thread, and moved it into the transmissions, transfer cases, and differentials section. There is a TSB on the rear end. You should ask the dealer for a copy of it.
