Rear End Size 8.8 or 7.5?

Hey guys,
I hate to ask such a basic question, but I'm a stang owner not an explorer so I'll ask anyway. What is the rear end size on a 91-94 4.0 explorer 8.8 or 7.5? And is there any reason that the ring and pinion will not work on a 95 Mustang GT if the explorer is an 8.8? Thanks for your help.

I knew that I had an 8.8. I just wanted to make sure that the V6 explorer had an 8.8 and not a 7.5. I put a 3.55 in mine and I'm just not getting what I want out of it since I changed the cam so a buddy of mine has an explorer rear axle with a 3.73 that he said I could have if it would work. 3.55 or 3.73? I like the highway milage of the 3.55 it just doesn't like the Fcam that I just put in

1 5/8 Longtube headers, MAC ProChamber, MAC 2 1/2 Catbacks, 76mm C&L, MSD 6AL, MSD Coil, 9mm Ford Racing wires, F-cam, Explorer upper, GT 40 lower, Jackson noisey gear drive.....and I think thats all. I may have left out a couple little things, but thats all the major stuff....oh yeah and 3.55 gears.

What size fuel injectors do you have.I just put a trick flow intake on mine last night I cannot wait to get it to the strip.My new upper and lower control arms will be this weekend

Stock unfortunately I wanted to put 24lber's in but the mod fund ran dry

I got my 24# injectors off of ebay for 90 and they were brand new the pro m bullit cost me 200 that kind of sucked

Why do you want to change gears,I bet some after market control arms would make a world of difference.Check ebay for injectors you would be really surprised

The gears were being given to me, but the guy changed his mind........so I'm not changing now I check on those injectors. Thanks
