Rear end whinning noise

I have a 2002 Sport Trac and the rear end makes a whinning noise. The lubricant level is fine. I have 120000 miles on it. Could it be that the lubricant needs changed?
 






i just replaced the rearend on my 02 explorer w 50k miles on it they are noisy anyways but id be planning on replacing yours b4 long
