This weekend I installed my K&N drop-in filter. Since I was going to wash the vehicle, I decided to disconnect the battery. I figured by the time I was done washing and drying it, it would be time to reconnect the battery. Well I didn't unlock all doors prior to disconnecting the battery so I had to manually unlock all doors except for the drivers door. I went to open the rear hatch and discovered the impossible task at hand. The 98 model (I believe 98 on) they eliminated the unlock post on the rear hatch, therefore, if your battery was dead and you had to unlock the back your out of luck. I had to wait until I reconnected the battery to be able to unlock, open and dry around the hatch. Has anyone found a work around for this small problem?
