rear hydraulic tensioner SOHC

Hi,maybe you will find this question ignorant but did anyone ever replace the rear hydraulic chain tensioner on SOHC engine. Is it neccesary to remove the engine just to replace the tensioner. i find that this timing SOHC problems is a kind of mystery but even FORD DEALER does not know what is all about. The OOM12 kit consist only of front tensioner. What about the rear ??

people have done it with the engine in the truck. I'd imagine it must be quite tight back there but it's doable.

According to Ford, rear tensioner replacement is not required unless it is damaged or faulty. It is done with the engine in the truck The part number for the rear tensioner is :
XU3Z-6K254-BA and the copper seal washer part number is : W702549-S300
