It seems i have lots of question

I've just looked under my 2001 sport and it has the multy-spring set up and there is a u-shaped spacer there....with a brake cable there

Does this stay in place and the spacer goes underneath this or over this spacer

Thanks in advance

Standard 2001 ex sport ...But working on that...

there are many threads detailing this if you do a search, however it might be different for your x you have the new body style right? in that case if you do the rear lowering blocks yourself and then take it in to be aligned you can probably get the shop to do the torsion twist for you for free. it should only take them a few minutes and that way they can have the truck on the alignment machine while they do it. that way if a full two inch drop won't allow proper geometry (which may be the case) they can stop it at the exact limit. when i had my truck done (2 inch lowering by a shop for under 150)-thread i was actually able to get a bit more than the two inch drop and retain the geometry. i never would have known this if i hadn't been at the shop and the truck hadn't been on the alignment machine while we lowered it. you will likely be forced to pay a little more than i was for this luxury (i'm good friends with the owner of the shop) but it is well worth it to have the geometry of your x intact. in the end your x will thank you by lasting much longer.

Thanks for the info
I take it you did not need the camber spacers then
i got the blocks today
it seems the u bolts will be a tight fit

I checked out truck looks just like i want mine and nice wheels what size are they

Thanks again

EX Standard but not for long

About the u-bolts in the rear: does it matter that the actual bolt is round and not flat? I got the round u-bolts, but the top of the stock u-bolts are flattened to sit on the axle better (i assume), and the replacements aren't.

Yea stann

My u-bolts are round to i am hoping everything will go smooth, My bolts are very long too i am going to need to cut them once there on.........here's hoping

my u-bolts are also round and thats cool i guess. they seemed to seat in there very well despite not have the flat side. the wheels are only 17", they are little wish i had eighteens. but no bigger than that, it wouldn't perform well. some people might disagree, but i would bet the best handling and ride quality combination comes from seventeens on an x. if you have any other questions about how tos or where to gets be sure to ask.
