Rear Seat Issue

I am having a problem folding down the rear seat. The latch doesn't seem to release. Any tips?

Bump....i am having the same problem on my xlt.

You're pulling the latch forward, right? Try pushing rearward on the seatback while pulling the latch forward. The mechanism should be visible, perhaps it's jammed somehow?
