I decided to replace the rear shackles on my 93 Eddie with the WAR 153 and they came in today. Me and my brother got the bolt on the leaf pack out but the bolt that connects it to the frame will absolutely not even budge. Neither will the bushing. We have hit it with a really really big hammer for an extended period of time and also soaked it in PB Blaster. Nothin is even remotely budging. Any help would be appreciated!

you will prob end up drilling the rubber out, and replacing the bushing. if you go to ford, more then likely they will tell you you need to buy the frame to get that bushing. if they do, give them this part # F57Z 5A546 AA

LMC also carries that bushing.

You could try and press the bolt out with a u-joint clamp/press, but likely you'll destroy the bushing in the process anyway. Might as well just cut it out

:wtf:We finally hit it enough to where we got the bolt out, and we "melted" the bushings out with a torch. We ordered a new bushing pack from Explorer Express and its on its way, but now that we have started the other side, the actual leaf pack bolt wont budge. So now it's back to square one:wtf: But thanks for the help!
