I have a 95 sport and am fixin to do the lift, but i am having a hard time finding the shaclkes that are the correct size. mine stock are 5.5" bolt to bolt, so i am lookin for around 8" bolt to bolt. also, one side is about 3/4" lower than the other in the back, so how do i correct this? rick, what is your email, i try to email you at ExplorGM@aol.com but it wont go through. also, how did you tack weld the two together? how much did you pay from that place in michigan for the pair, i might just order them from there. lastly, i am also gettin rancho rs5000 when i do this cause i need new shocks, can i just put the standard length on for this mild lift? sorry for all the questions, butnew to the board, anything will help, either emails or posts.

Adios
Gino

Please someone help, i want to do this next sat so i was hoping to order the parts on monday. maybe everyone is just on the trails for the weekend.

I read on this board that '89-'95 Jeep Wrangler shackles will work (but I don't know how long?). Autozone has generic shackle sets (just flat steel bars w/holes) that can be spot-welded to your existing shackles (read this on this board also)to strengthen them. I plan on trying to locate the wrangler shackles... JC Whitney has them but I don't know width or length. My 4dr springs are 2.5" wide. I plan on 1" lift to balance out looks front-rear.
