hello
I have 02 4.0 v6 XLT given to me from my coworker. She was told it needed a head gasket and did not want fix it. It turned out to be a leaking hose , the small one by the thermostat.
Anyways. It has few more issues which I'm trying to fix.
Above 60mph I get a humming noise from the back, sounds like rear right but could be the diff pinion bearings? Also i noticed the rear right stabilizer bar ball joint is like 1/16 inch off the rim and looks like its has scraped before.
It also has a bad wheel bearing on same side so i reached whole assembly on that side, but the ball joint is still touching inside of rim. I do not see anything bent ? Why is it touching?
Any idea would be greatly appreciated 🙏
