hi guys I'm a new owner of a 2000/2001 explorer and looking for some help from those in the know
I've had the front shockers replaced as the car was bouncing around terribly and this has fixed the problem at the front perfectly however there is still a knocking from the Rear every time I go over even a small bump or uneven road surface. The self levelling warning light comes on after about 20 min driving so I thought just replace the rears as well. However it seems not so easy I'm struggling to find the correct parts and also someone who understands the system enough to fix it .
Is it possible to fit regular shockers and disable the self levelling function if so what parts would I need and as the new shockers would have no where to fit the connectors how would I go about disabling and removing safely??
Don't know if this is even possible but would really appreciate some help from those that know
Thanks Eric
